Old Skool: Hifi Audio on the C64

I cut my teeth on the Commodore 64. I had access to TIs and Apple IIes and all that, but the C64 was what pushed me. And it was what put me into the music industry at a young age writing shitty sequencers and MIDI toys, building my first interface from an RS232 port adapter.

A friend of mine and I successfully used the paddle input as a pseudoaudio encoder that only had the worst and most distorted 2 second samples. So when I think about the fact that someone has figured out how to get 90 seconds of audio at CD quality from a C64, I’m actually impressed! Check it out!
